User Macro Exporter

This documentation covers the User Macro Exporter app. To learn more about User Macro migration, please refer to our documentation.
Our app allows users to download all User Macros from Confluence (Server/Data Center) in JSON format. This JSON file can then be imported into the User Macro for Confluence Cloud app.

How to use

1. Download User Macro Exporter app from Google drive. Choose the version that matches your Confluence version.

2. Install the User Macro Exporter JAR file on your Confluence instance

3. Press the Configure button
   

   

4. Press Export all macros
   

   

   A JSON file containing all your User Macros will be automatically downloaded.

5. Open User Macro for Conlfuence Cloud and press Import
   

   

6. Choose macros you want to import
   

   

   You can keep the original macro key from Server/Data Center by selecting the corresponding checkbox
   

7. Now, your Server/Data Center macros are successfully available in Confluence Cloud! 🎉
